The First Steps into the Sensorial Food Workshops

It is so strange and odd the timing.

I am writing this newsletter about the start of a new chapter while a very important other is pausing. The end is the beginning of the new, creating the space for whatever is about to come according to the great design.

The exciting successful moment of the new paired with the passing. The forces work in opposites again that will bring the neutral – the balance - the point of support.
The black and the white. The Yin and the Yang.

Today, the person that saw in me what I wasn’t able to see in myself is passing to another dimension and out of her physical body joining those desert night skies as a newborn bright star.

My guide and teacher, the lady filled and guided by love and an open heart. The lady with the hands, that could heal the body and soul. She helped me channel and find the way to my true self.  She was the first one to know about these workshops when they were only an idea.

This very day I felt ready to share a glimpse into all the goodness that happened during the first Sensorial Food workshops that took place and were successfully initiated during The Journey of Remembering Retreat, at the island of Evia in Greece.

The Sensorial Food workshops have been a journey for the participants as well as myself. So many emotions, impressions, feelings and experiences that we had in togetherness.

Through the attention to our senses we explored all the ingredients. We connected with the resource, we paid respect to it and we paused for a moment to listen; to show our respect and appreciation for the abundance. To connect with the ingredients and see how they change when we handle them. We learned through play and we explored as if everything was new.

We were glued together like one, submerged completely into the process of making, we became one with the ingredients and with one another.

We noticed the changes when handling the food and those changes happening within us.

We stood up to transmit love and attention to the process of making.

We stood up to assist each other, to cook in connection and in community around the same resource and around the centre of our home – the Estia.

How many generations of women have gathered around a common table to prepare the food? To transfer and alchemize all the female energy, the love, the affection and turn it into vital nourishing energy for the bodies and souls of their beloved ones?

We mobilized stagnant energies, we honored the mothers, the grandmothers and the mothers of the grandmothers remembering their practices, preparing and consuming the resource in community.

Do you know where your food comes from?

Were the ingredients made and handled with love and attention, ethically for humans and with respect to mother Earth?

What energy you choose to transfer to your resource that will pass into your body?

Do you pause and feel from your heart and intuition what your body needs at this specific moment in time? At this very moment.

Pay attention with all of your senses.

Notice what emotions, feelings or thoughts might come up.

I am so thankful to all the ladies who attended and trusted in me to be guided through one of the most important resources we have; the food.

More sensorial food workshops are coming up soon via online gatherings for our international community and in person for the local crowd.

Do you feel the calling ?

The essence of the Sensorial Food workshops was beautifully captured with love by Marianna Pateraki.

Love + light
